Job Description:
Her Safe Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Victims Support Worker to join our team in Coventry. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to victims of domestic abuse, helping them transition to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide emotional and practical support to victims of domestic abuse.
* Assist clients in understanding their rights and accessing necessary services.
* Develop and implement individualized support plans for each client.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans.
* Facilitate support groups and educational workshops.
* Liaise with external agencies and service providers to coordinate care.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on victims.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Compassionate, non-judgmental, and patient demeanor.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
