️ Assistant Site Manager Our Client: Established Regional Contractor We are working with a well-established and respected regional main contractor to recruit an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a retail refurbishment project in Bath. Our client delivers high-quality construction projects across the South West, typically ranging in value from £1M to £7M, with a strong pipeline of work. Known for their collaborative and professional approach, they are now looking to expand their site team with an Assistant Site Manager who is eager to grow within the business. ️ The Role: The successful candidate will assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of a live retail refurbishment, ensuring health & safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining quality and programme targets. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager in delivering the project to programme and budget * Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site logistics * Conduct site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks * Maintain site documentation and daily records * Ensure all works comply with health, safety, and environmental standards ✅ Candidate Requirements: * Experience in a similar role, ideally on retail or commercial refurbishments * SSSTS (or SMSTS), CSCS, and First Aid qualifications * Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills * Ability to work in a live site environment with a proactive, hands-on approach Salary & Package: * £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience * £5,000 car allowance * Career development opportunities with a growing regional contractor * Friendly, team-oriented working environment
