How You'll Make An Impact
* Provide accounting expertise to ensure seamless integration into BAU activities, including review of SPA and liaising with M&A and Integration teams and vendors.
* Manage and guide the Assistant Accounting Manager and Senior Accountants.
* Conduct detailed integration analysis, including process mapping and documentation.
* Prepare SOPs and coordinate handover to offshore teams.
* Ensure SOX compliance and that transitioned work aligns with Gallagher FPMs.
* Assist in producing accurate acquisition management accounts and commentary within tight deadlines.
* Build positive relationships with senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors and operational heads.
* Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and perform variance analysis.
* Produce ad hoc reports and support external/internal audits.
* Liaise with offshore teams to control month-end posting and reconciliations.
* Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and other departments.
* Support internal policies, legal compliance, and ethical standards.
About You
* Essential: CA, ACCA, or ACA qualification, with experience in professional services or a large, complex business environment.
* Experience managing a small team.
* Preferred: US GAAP and SOX compliance experience.
* Preferred: Experience in acquisition accounting, project management, or process implementation.
* Strong prioritization, adaptability, and attention to detail.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and organizational skills.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
