We're looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear, and Networks team based in Worcester, Worcestershire, and Wanlip, Leicestershire, on a summer placement.

Details:
* Location: Worcester, Worcestershire and Wanlip, Leicestershire
* Contract: 8 weeks - 40 hours per week
* Salary: £12.60 per hour
* Start date: July 2025
Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer, you'll assist in planning, coordination, design, and management of construction projects and on-site activities. Your daily tasks will include:
* Assisting in project planning, execution, and management relevant to your field of study.
* Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
* Conducting research and analysis to inform decisions and strategies.
* Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to project activities.
* Participating in team meetings and contributing to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Placement Details:
Kier Group offers a summer placement scheme lasting 8 weeks, designed to immerse you in the world of construction and provide practical experience to support your degree. Enrolled students will gain hands-on experience, develop skills, build networks, and explore potential career paths.
Candidate Requirements:
* Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
* Available for an 8-week placement across July and August.
* Must be returning to university after the placement.
* Strong interest in construction engineering and project management.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
