About The Role
Join ARAG Law at an exciting time of positive change and sustained growth! We’re expanding our Legal teams and are looking for a Property Litigation Paralegal to join our Complex Litigation department.
About the role:
As a Property Litigation Paralegal, you’ll work on a wide range of property disputes. You’ll take on early responsibility until the claim has been issued—supported by structured training and a collaborative team around you.
This is a varied, high-quality caseload covering disputes such as nuisance, trespass, property damage and negligence—so no two cases look the same. If you enjoy problem-solving, building client relationships and developing your legal skills in a supportive environment, this role offers a genuine opportunity to grow.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of property litigation matters for a broad client base, progressing files efficiently and accurately.
2. Resolve disputes commercially—through mediation and other ADR approaches—adapting your strategy to the case.
3. Deliver work to a high standard, with strong risk awareness and a consistent focus on excellent client service.
4. Work towards agreed billing targets, managing time and financials effectively.
About You
You’ll have experience working as a paralegal in a property environment, with confidence handling your own caseload (with appropriate supervision). You’ll also bring a good understanding of SRA Standards & Regulations and data protection requirements, including GDPR.
You communicate clearly and professionally, take pride in your attention to detail, and are comfortable working with autonomy. You’re personable and approachable, with a strong customer-service mindset and the confidence to build trust with clients and colleagues.
You’ll also bring:
5. A working knowledge of property law and civil procedure.
6. Experience running a busy caseload and knowing when to escalate or seek guidance.
7. A sense of ownership for every client interaction, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
8. Confidence using case management systems and managing time and costs effectively.
9. Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Because these disputes can be highly contentious, we’re looking for someone who is confident in client-facing conversations and can demonstrate resilience, professionalism and empathy.
About us:
We’re passionate about what we do and proud of the service we provide. You’ll be encouraged to think independently, take ownership of your work and keep improving—supported by flexible working, competitive pay and a benefits package that includes:
10. 26 days’ holiday, with the option to buy up to a further 5 days
11. Company pension scheme, with the option to increase contributions
12. Group Income Protection for all employees
13. Group Legal Protection for all employees
14. European Motor Assistance
15. Home Emergency Assistance
16. Inclusion in our Health Cash Plan
17. Employee Discounts Hub with exclusive savings across thousands of retail partners, including discounted gym memberships at over 3,000 UK gyms
18. Optional Sports & Social Club, offering discounted events such as theatre visits and shopping trips
If this sounds like a great fit, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply even if you don’t meet every requirement—transferable skills and potential matter to us.
