ADI Global Distribution is growing our strategic national account capability and seeking an experienced, commercially confident Key Account Manager to manage and develop a select portfolio of high-value, national accounts across the UK and Ireland.

In this role, you will manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our ADI Global Distribution organization. You will build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products and solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers, utilizing your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition. You will increase overall performance of the organization by creating strong customer relationships and new customer partnerships. You will develop and maximize ADI’s presence and market share in designated accounts and territory, driving continuous improvement and leading change in a premiere Sales Organization.

Job Duties

Strategic Account Leadership

9. Manage a small number of large, national accounts with complex needs and high strategic value
10. Lead and coordinate activity across branches, internal teams, and supplier partners to ensure smooth delivery
11. Develop strategic account plans, growth roadmaps, and structured business reviews (QBRs and annual planning)
12. Present confidently to senior decision-makers, demonstrating authority and commercial insight
13. Build and manage rebate structures, incentive programs, and joint business plans to drive partnerships

Sales Cycle Management

14. Identify opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects
15. Manage and plan accounts strategically to maximize growth
16. Negotiate and close deals that deliver mutual value
17. Articulate and deliver ADI’s value proposition effectively
18. Maintain momentum through the sales cycle and ensure timely execution

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

19. Build deep relationships with senior stakeholders across customer organizations
20. Act as the central point of contact for strategic national accounts, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration
21. Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, category management, credit, operations) to deliver end-to-end account success
22. Maintain strong visibility and presence with internal and external stakeholders

Market Engagement & Continuous Improvement

23. Stay informed on category trends, market innovations, and technical advancements
24. Lead customer presentations, strategy sessions, and senior meetings
25. Represent ADI at industry events, customer conferences, and key exhibitions
26. Contribute to continuous improvement of national account frameworks and best practices

You Must Have

27. Relevant experience
28. Proven success in a B2B field sales or account management role
29. Experience managing large or high-value accounts
30. Strong communication and presentation skills with confidence in senior settings
31. Commercial acumen and experience with margin, profitability, and structuring deals
32. Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the UKI

We Value

33. Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related field
34. Experience in security distribution, electrical wholesale, or trade-based B2B environments
35. Ability to build and manage rebate structures, incentive programs, or commercial agreements
36. Strong negotiation and influencing skills at senior levels
37. Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
38. Collaborative, proactive, and organized approach
39. Curiosity and willingness to develop product and market expertise
