About the Role
As Project Manager, you will play a leading role in delivering a varied portfolio of projects, often progressing multiple workstreams simultaneously to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. The programme includes technology initiatives, strategic programmes, infrastructure improvements and wider organisational transformation, giving you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and lasting change.
You will oversee the full project lifecycle - from initial feasibility through to implementation - applying a consistent approach, maintaining clear visibility of progress and ensuring the effective delivery of prioritised outcomes for key stakeholders and the Senior Management Team. Working closely with the Interim Head of Corporate Programme Assurance, you will support strong project and programme governance, champion continuous improvement and help develop innovative tools and techniques that enhance delivery across the organisation.
About you
The successful candidate will hold a degree in a related discipline, a recognised project management qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent project management experience. You will be a highly motivated individual with strong organisational and communication skills, and a proven ability to lead a diverse mix of projects. Experience of working within a technology-focused environment is desirable, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently is essential. You will also be flexible and adaptable, able to respond confidently to changing priorities, evolving requirements and a dynamic delivery environment.
Full time hours will be 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to undertake work outwith this norm to meet the responsibilities of the post.
You will be based at 131 St Vincent Street, Glasgow. Please note, this position falls into the low risk category under the Alcohol and Drugs policy and therefore is subject to for-cause testing procedures.
