This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team, supporting strategic financial management across the Trust. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the successful candidate will provide expert financial analysis, budgeting support, business case development, and financial planning to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Deliver financial support and advice to senior managers and budget holders Prepare business cases, service development proposals, and complex financial analysis Support budget setting, monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting Identify financial risks and contribute to performance improvement initiatives Assist with Trust financial plans, monitoring returns, and capital reporting Support budget holders with meaningful management information and training Essential Criteria CCAB qualified accountant Minimum 3 years' relevant financial management experience Experience in budgetary control and management accounting Experience producing business cases Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Desirable Experience with HSC financial systems The role Location: Belfast Duration: 6 months with potential extension Pay: £24.45 per hour Access to internal opportunities, hybrid working This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital public sector organisation committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services across Northern Ireland.
