Where will you be working? At M Group Energy, we're enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide end-to-end solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure. Our team installs and maintains distribution networks to ensure reliable connections for customers, carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections, and network reinforcement.
As part of our team, you'll be at the forefront of the transition to net zero, working with colleagues across the Group to share learnings and deliver essential infrastructure services for life.
What will you be doing?
Are you ready to lead and shape commercial success? We're seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to support and lead the commercial aspects of our projects in North Wales. Your responsibilities include overseeing subcontractor management, ensuring compliance with quotations and applications, coaching Quantity Surveyors on variations and final accounts, monitoring risk registers, and recovering contract costs to drive profitability and efficiency. You will also prepare financial reports, develop negotiation skills, and enhance commercial processes.
You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Commercial staff while adhering to ISO standards and company policies. Are you ready to make a difference?
What you'll bring
* Previous experience or qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Full Clean UK Driving Licence
* Knowledge of Contract law NEC 3 & 4, Options A, C & E
* Contract experience, supporting a project team, capturing site records for variations and valuations
* Sub Contract Management experience
