As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibilities will be:
* Conducting health and disability assessments to understand each person’s unique needs.
* Carrying out Work Capability Assessments (WCA) – assessing physical, mental, intellectual, and cognitive functions to determine work capability.
* Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.
* Collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants and contribute to service excellence in UK health assessments.
What we are looking for:
* At least 12 months of post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse, HCPC registered physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.
* Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions (preferred).
* Strong critical analysis and logical thinking skills.
* Proficiency in IT tools for documentation and communication.

As a Restart Advisor, you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals toward sustainable employment.
Ingeus is recruiting across the UK to support the Government’s Restart Scheme, aimed at helping people return to sustainable work.
Working hours are 37.5 per week, weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm. Roles can be full-time or part-time (3 or 4 days). The position is hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days in an Assessment Centre. Adjustments are available for part-time workers.
