About the Role: As Deputy Head of Department, you will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions while providing strong leadership and support to the team. This role offers the ideal balance of hands-on casework alongside strategic involvement in business development, financial planning and team management. Key Responsibilities: Manage a busy caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues, mentoring junior staff and supporting their development Contribute to the growth of the department through business development and by building strong relationships with clients, estate agents and industry contacts Assist the Head of Department with strategic planning, financial management and operational oversight Requirements: Proven expertise in residential conveyancing with several years managing your own caseload Strong leadership skills with experience guiding and motivating teams Excellent client care focus and the ability to build and maintain trusted client and referrer relationships Confident problem-solver able to navigate complex property transactions and resolve issues efficiently Meticulous attention to detail ensuring compliance and accuracy in all documentation What’s on Offer?
