About the Role
This role is based at Bowersgate School, a purpose‑built, brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art school opening in September 2026, catering for up to 72 pupils aged 6‑16 with a wide range of needs including autism, social, emotional and mental health needs.
As part of a multi‑disciplinary clinical team you will support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments. You will assess pupils’ mental health, recommend appropriate interventions, and develop personalised care plans. Building rapport is key; you will deliver effective counselling and feedback on progress.

Qualifications and Experience
* A qualified professional or accredited counsellor, eligible for membership of BACP or a similar professional body (additional mental health or therapeutic intervention qualifications desirable)
* Strong knowledge of child development and ability to connect with young people
* Highly organised and initiative‑taking
