Job Description

This is a fixed-term, full-time position until 28/02/2026, with a shift pattern from 9 am to 5 pm.
The post holder will lead and participate in health needs assessments for children and young people known to Specialist Children’s Services, including those with complex health needs or neurodisability.
Responsibilities include supporting the Clinical Nurse Specialist in managing nursing resources, caseload management, supervision, personal development planning, and policy implementation monitoring.
Working alongside the Neurodevelopmental Team Lead and multi-professional team, the post holder will support children with neurodevelopmental differences and their families. They will function as an autonomous practitioner, leading the SCS Disability and CCN team to deliver high-quality services.
The post holder will be the clinical expert responsible for case management and assessments within their caseload.
