About the Role:
We're working with a well-established and financially secure construction business based in Warrington, looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team. This is a hands-on role reporting into the Finance Director, offering a friendly, down-to-earth working environment with long-term stability and realistic expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting support
Variance analysis and commentary
Accruals, prepayments, and journal postings
Cashflow management and reporting
Assisting with year-end processes and liaising with auditors
Working closely with operational teams to provide financial insight
About You:
Qualified by Experience (QBE) - strong track record in a management accounting role
Previous experience in the construction industry is highly advantageous
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
Detail-oriented, reliable, and consistent - you take pride in doing the job right
