We’re recruiting a Dining Room Supervisor to join Ragdale Hall Spa at an exciting time of change. With new owners and significant projects and initiatives planned, this role offers the opportunity to get involved in shaping the future of one of the UK’s most prestigious spa dining experiences. You will be ready to impart your fresh ideas and expertise at the hall, whilst supervising guest care and general dining room service. This role will also support our Dining Room Manager in leading our fabulous team of over 70 Waiters/Waitresses ensuring all guests receive a warm, professional and first class service. 1. 5 days per week, including weekends
2. Two weekends off per month
3. One full weekend off
4. One additional Saturday or Sunday off
5. Rota issued 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan ahead
6. Typical shift patterns:
7. 9:30am – 5:00pm
8. 12:00pm – 9:00pm
9. 1:00pm – 10:00pm
10. 3:00pm – 11:00pm

11. Supporting the Dining Room Manager by maintaining a strong floor presence and overseeing all dining room service, leading by example
12. Setting, maintaining, and regularly auditing the highest standards of guest care
13. Managing guest queries professionally and calmly to a satisfactory resolution, ensuring correct reporting, handover, and follow‑up procedures
14. Monitoring and auditing all service procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
15. Monitoring the quality and presentation of food served, ensuring it meets guest expectations and luxury spa standards
16. Coordinating specific food and beverage activities with the marketing team for special events and new initiatives
17. Conducting regular training to support personal development and future progression
18. Supporting and supervising the Assistant Supervisor, Senior Waiting Staff, and Waiting Staff
Skills, Experience & Requirements
19. Proven experience working within luxury hospitality, ideally within a spa, hotel, or similar environment
20. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
21. Passion for mentoring, training, and developing teams
22. Strong guest‑focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
23. Applicants must be aged 18+ due to the service of alcohol
Salary:
24. Competitive, depending on experience
