Job Responsibilities:
1. Discuss with tax consultants on issues related to tax, VAT, and HMRC for return filings, in collaboration with the team in India.
2. Maintain physical records as per local requirements.
3. Visit tax authorities and banks as necessary.
4. Maintain a tracker for all local finance compliances, including due dates, and discuss updates with the team in India.
5. Print documents, obtain signatures, and courier materials to relevant stakeholders.
6. Visit the office regularly, maintain stationery and office equipment.
7. Coordinate with banks, HMRC, and other relevant authorities and stakeholders.
8. Support travel arrangements.
9. Travel locally as required.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in administrative or customer service roles, preferably within an engineering or utilities business.
* Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with experience in finance.
* Proficiency in office software.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
