Job overview
We are currently seeking a forward-thinking, dynamic, motivated individual to work within Barts Health Trust. This position is based in Foxglove, Clinical Measurements, Newham University Hospital.
The role requires the post holder to have efficient and effective work systems that result in a positive patient experience. Previous experience and knowledge of hospital patient IT systems would be helpful.
We have a supportive environment for training and development. Good communication and IT skills are essential.

Main duties of the job
1. Greet patients and visitors professionally and warmly.
2. Keep the reception area tidy, compliant with Information Governance guidelines.
3. Ensure correct patient identification upon arrival.
4. Handle enquiries professionally.
5. Communicate effectively with clinicians, admin, and staff.
6. Vet and book referrals according to urgency.
7. Assist in registering new patients.
8. Verify patient demographics on CRS.
9. Send out patient appointments via letter and text.
10. Assist with Call & Remind services.
