We are seeking patient and committed educators who ideally have experience as a Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Mentor, SEN/SEMH specialist or Tutor.

Location: Face to face in a Child’s home, local library, or community centre

Role: 1:1 Outreach Tutor

Hours: Part-time or full-time
*
Most referrals are 10–15 hours per week

Full-time tutors typically support multiple students

Start Date: ASAP

Subjects: English and Maths
As an Outreach Tutor, you will deliver tailored tuition sessions to young people unable to access mainstream education. This may be because they have challenging behaviour, been excluded or have SEN and SEMH needs. Most of our referrals are 10 – 15 hours per week, so full-time tutors can typically support multiple students and work up to 30 – 35 hours per week. This is an incredibly rewarding role, where you can help young people overcome barriers, instill confidence and empower them.
Experience Required
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN / SEMH needs
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons
* A flexible, supportive, and student-centred approach
