Job location: Manchester, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid), Full-Time, 2 days in the office per week.
Description: Step into a role as a Mid-Level Java Developer with Barclay's through the Mid-Level Accelerator programme.
The Role
In this role you’ll design, develop and improve software that provides business, platform and technology capabilities. You’ll deliver high-quality, scalable and secure solutions using industry-aligned languages and frameworks, while collaborating with product managers, designers and engineers to meet business objectives. You’ll also contribute to code reviews, apply secure coding practices and stay informed on industry trends and innovations.
What we’re looking for
* 1.5+ years of experience in a technology-focused role and a mind for data
* Able to pass a technical assessment in Java
* Commitment to complete a 16-week, part-time course to develop your mid-level skills
* Available to start a role with Barclay’s

* Agility & Automation: taking part in modern software development process, you'll further develop your Agile, DevOps and automation skills, deploying to the cloud
* Innovation & inclusive products: by building products with DE&I at the core, you will further harness additional techniques in the software development process to foster the development of inclusive products
