We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for client service and a solid understanding of commercial insurance products to play a key role in supporting our clients and insurers maintaining strong relationships. We require the candidate to have strong customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. We need someone with the ability to use their initiative and work to deadlines, whilst also being an active member of the team. Having knowledge of the Acturis Software system would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met efficiently and professionally
* Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations
* Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure the best outcomes for clients
* Provide expert advice on insurance products and coverage options
* Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with FCA regulations
Requirements
* Previous experience in an insurance broking or account handling role
* Strong knowledge of general insurance products
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decisions positively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
