We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. This role involves managing patient appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting the administrative functions of the practice.
Responsibilities
* Greet patients warmly and provide assistance as needed.
* Manage appointment scheduling and ensure an organised calendar for healthcare providers.
* Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries in a professional manner.
* Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Process patient registrations.
* Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth operations within the practice.
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Skills
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
* Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
* Proficient in using office equipment and computer software for scheduling and record management.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
