Security Officer – Defence Contract | Filton, Glascoed & Yeovil | £14.37ph
Location: Filton covering Glascoed & Yeovil – BS32 7QS
Contract Type: Permanent, Full‑Time (42 hours per week) – Days, Nights and Weekends
Pay Rate: £14.37 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a highly professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team on a critical defence contract based in Filton but covering Glascoed & Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a secure and high‑profile environment, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Access control and visitor management
* Internal and external patrols
* Incident reporting and response
* Maintaining accurate logs and records
* Ensuring compliance with site‑specific security procedures
* Liaising with emergency services and on‑site personnel as required
Qualifications
* Valid SIA Licence
* 5‑year checkable work history with no gaps
* Must be a born British citizen or have held a British passport for a minimum of 5 years
* Must be able to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional attitude and appearance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
