The Role
As a Nurse, you’ll provide high‑quality, compassionate care to pupils, staff, and visitors in our state‑of‑the‑art Medical Centre. Working both day and on‑call night shifts, you’ll ensure the effective running of the centre while promoting the health, wellbeing, and safety of everyone on site.
Responsibilities
 * Carry out a range of clinical duties, from triaging and treating minor illnesses and injuries to administering medication, treatments and vaccinations and supporting the school doctor’s surgeries.
 * Liaise with parents, staff, and healthcare professionals, co‑ordinate care, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure pupils receive appropriate support and follow‑up.
 * Escort pupils to medical appointments and co‑ordinate transport.
 * Support with first aid, hygiene, and infection control procedures.
 * Restock supplies and monitor the safe disposal of medical waste.
 * Refer pupils to counsellors or external professionals where necessary.
 * Provide health advice and basic first aid training to staff and pupils.
Qualifications
 * Registered Nurse.
 * Up‑to‑date CPR and AED training.
 * Knowledge and understanding of current medical and public health issues.
 * Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
 * A kind and caring manner.
 * A full, valid driving licence and use of a car during working hours.
