* The successful applicant will be a Junior / Assistant Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with a degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
* You should have relevant professional experience and be actively working towards chartered status.
* Candidates will be part of teams where your contributions matter, and you can build strong, collaborative relationships working on a diverse range of strategic projects across the infrastructure and energy sectors. A good academic background with a degree in civil engineering or geology / geoscience and a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
* A good understanding of ground investigation techniques.
* Proven site experience including ground investigation supervision, site walkover surveys/ geotechnical inspections.
* Geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks.
* Experience in general numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap etc.
* Working towards Chartered status.
* Experience of working in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
* Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
* A willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas.
* A valid UK driving licence.
