Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of employees to ensure targets are consistently met. This includes leading by example, promoting a safe working environment, and supporting health and safety initiatives.
You will also be involved in day-to-day operational management, including informal management of team members' performance, attendance, and behavior. Additionally, you will lead the team to achieve SOPs to production schedules and within process master times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team to achieve KPIs on cost, quality, delivery, and safety.
2. Lead the team to operate in a safe environment, ensuring H&S policy and PPE requirements are adhered to.
3. Informal management of team members' performance, attendance, and behavior.
4. Lead the team to achieve SOPs to production schedules and within process master times.
5. Clear communication to section leaders, escalating issues by exception.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong Health and Safety ethos, with the ability to lead and motivate a team on a daily basis. They should also have experience of deputising in management/supervisory positions and a high-performance culture with a drive for continuous improvement.
