People Solutions are looking for experienced Class 1 Night Drivers for a well-established retail client based in South Elmsall, Pontefract.

Rates of pay
* Monday to Friday Days (06:00 - 22:00) £17.36 per hour
* Sunday to Thursday Nights (22:00 - 06:00) £23.83 per hour
* Friday night (22:00 - 06:00) £26.38 per hour
* Saturday Day (06:00 -22:00) £20.36 per hour
* Saturday Night (22:00 - 06:00) £29.38 per hour
* Sunday Day (06:00 - 22:00) £22.91 per hour
* Bank Holidays £34.72 per hour
* Overtime after 42 Hours (Nights) - £30.98 per hour
Day to Day Duties
* Trunk runs, store deliveries and shunting work available
* Drive Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
* Follow Company procedures and comply with the Driving rules and regulations
* Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and unit is well presented at all time
* Ensure all loads are safe and secure
* Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence and have held this for a minimum of one year
* At least one year experience driving Category CE vehicles
* Hold a valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
* Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes (IN, DR, DD, TT etc)
* Work in a professional manner
* Previous experience working for a retail haulier is desirable but not essential
Training
* All drivers are required to pass a driving assessment and complete a two-day classroom paid induction
* Successful candidates will be required to complete further training with a core driver
