Your new company
Solihull Council are looking for highly motivated Occupational Therapists (OT) to help deliver their Aids and Adaptations therapy service.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work with those with complex physical disabilities and develop your clinical skills. Also, have knowledge specific to aids and adaptations within a community setting as well as being part of our duty system alongside colleagues in community social work and reablement to provide a streamlined customer journey.
You will have the ability to undertake innovative assessments, plan and deliver services and review outcomes with service users, carers and their personal support networks. Ensuring you address adversity and social exclusion, promoting service users' independence and autonomy.
You are passionate about the care and support you provide, ensuring that it is personalised and, where possible, gives service users control of their lives, focusing on a strengths based approach. You will work autonomously, managing your own caseload with guidance from senior OT's and a supportive management team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified OT registered with the HCPC on commencement of the position. You must have a BSC or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
