Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team at The Glasgow Fort. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, drive sales performance, and ensure that our store meets its operational goals while providing a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
Duties
* Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
* Manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to enhance store performance.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
* Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.
* Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement skills.
* Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll management, and reporting.
* Maintain an organised store layout that promotes an enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
* Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Experience
* Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficient phone etiquette.
* Experience in merchandising and visual presentation to enhance product visibility.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
