Overview
Our prestigious client based in Witney is looking for a Workshop Machinist to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
* Manufacture of machined components using CNC and NC equipment from a wide selection of materials.
* Liaising with the appropriate Team Leader to deliver products to the agreed schedule.
* Maintaining accurate and traceable records.
* Ensuring strict adherence to company quality standards.
* Using computerised systems to maintain CAD data integrity.
* Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental guidance and regulations.
* Take ownership of the manufacturing area and associated products.
* Drive continuous improvement activities.
* Reporting issues within the work area and resolving them where appropriate.
* Maintaining the working area to acceptable cleanliness and safety standards.
* Work on other programmes and sites as required by the business.
* Support the business in any reasonable way as required.
* The job holder may be expected to travel worldwide to support programmes when required by the business.
Experience & Qualifications
* Job holder must possess a suitable manufacturing qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience of working in a mechanical environment is advantageous.
* Good working knowledge of proprietary PC software e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Holding a current driving licence would be advantageous.
Salary
* 17.00 - 18.00 per hour DEO
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday - 14:00 to 12:30
