Role Overview Savills Retail Property Management are renowned for being market leaders and currently manage 25% of all Shopping Centres, 45% of all Retail Parks and 60% of all Leisure schemes in the UK. Savills Bristol are now looking for a Property Management Surveyor who is or has apsirations to specialise in Shopping Centre management. The Bristol Property Management team has been expanding year on year and has maintained growth within the Retail market despite challenging market conditions. There is now an opportunity for an individual to lead on Shopping Centre management, taking on the management of key assets within the South West that are well reknowned by the public. We are seeking an ambitious surveyor who is keen to grow their client relationships, as well as their own network, particularly with our London-based colleagues. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to carry out all typical property management responsibilities, including but not limited to: Timely setting of budgets and reconciliations in line with RICS guidelines and internal KPIs; Management of staff based on site employed through Savills' subsidiary Savills Management Resources; Client reporting as and when required; Occupier engagement, at both site and strategic level; Arrears collection & reporting; Engaging and understanding all internal PropTech systems; Cross-referrals across Savills' large network and service lines; Open to business development opportunities including tenders and pitch presentations Key Skills 1-5 years post-qualified (RICS) Experience managing a variety of Retail property - Shopping Centres preferred but not essential Innovative approach to problem solving Ambitious self-starter Positive 'can do' attitude Keen eye for detail Team Overview The Bristol/Cardiff team comprises of 2 Directors, 1 Associate Director, 2 Surveyors and 2 Graduate Surveyors, supported by 2 Team Admins. The team has grown annually and a key model for its growth is nurturing young talent and developing careers in line with personal goals and ambitions. Whilst based in the office in Bristol, the team are encouraged to regularly be out on site and remote working is permissable for up to 2 days a week. We will consider applicants based outside of Bristol who are prepared to be in the office 2 days a week at a minimum.
