We're looking for an Architectural Technician to join our Architectural and Building Solutions team based in Liverpool.
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality drawings, specifications and coordinated design solutions using REVIT, while supporting project delivery and mentoring junior team members.
* An experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist with a strong technical background?
* Confident producing coordinated drawings and specifications using REVIT and BIM?
* Comfortable working across sectors such as education, MOD/MOJ or blue light?
* Want to be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering projects from concept to construction?
* Have experience contributing to planning applications and regulatory approvals?

What will you be responsible for?
As a Architectural Technician, you’ll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:
* Producing high-quality concept and detailed drawings using CAD / REVIT
* Coordinating design information across multidisciplinary teams
* Supporting planning submissions and statutory approvals
* Advising on environmental, legal and regulatory requirements
* Contributing to design risk assessments and project delivery
* Administering contracts (NEC / JCT) and undertaking site visits
* Supporting bids and work-winning activity
* Managing and mentoring junior team members
What are we looking for?
This role of Architectural Technician is great for you if you have:
* Extensive architectural / technical experience
* Strong knowledge of construction regulations and industry standards
* Experience using REVIT, BIM and Autodesk products
* Familiarity with NBS Create and contract administration (NEC / JCT)
* Ability to coordinate design and work to deadlines
* Experience in BIM coordination
* Experience in sectors such as DfE, MOD, sustainability or conservation
