Parts Co-ordinator and Shop Assistant – Wokingham Showroom

We are a friendly, family-run business that's been proudly serving our customers for over 15 years. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Parts Co-ordinator to join our busy team at our Wokingham showroom.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by managing inventory, assisting with logistics, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and administrative skills to ensure the smooth running of our shop.

The Role
As a Parts Co-ordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for customers in our showroom. You'll play an important part in keeping our service and repair operation running smoothly by:
* Greeting and assisting customers front-of-house
* Assist in the management of inventory levels and stock replenishment.
* Booking in deliveries and collections
* Liaising with the workshop to provide service and repair updates to customers
* Supporting the organisation and booking in of parts
* Ordering parts required for the workshop and organising the stock
* Providing showroom and front of house support when needed
* Perform data entry tasks related to inventory and supply chain management.
Support shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and
* A proactive, customer-focused approach
* Previous experience within the Agricultural, Groundcare, or Plant industries.
* A background in either a mechanical/technical role or as a Service Advisor.
* Familiarity with supply chain processes, logistics, and shipping & receiving practices.
* Some mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machinery and equipment repair.
