Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Procurement Executive, based in Lutterworth. This role will add value to all divisions of the Procurement team.
This role will be the administrative engine of the Procurement function, providing Procurement and spend based support to Procurement and the wider business. You will drive transformation and optimisation within Procurement and the wider business, via reporting and analysis, governance and projects. Part of this role will require sourcing; matching preferred suppliers to business need, via assessment of business need and supplier capability, negotiation, contract drafting, and implementation. The Procurement Executive role will also play a key role in Supplier Relationship Management – ensuring ongoing optimisation of supplier delivery, across Value, Risk and Performance metrics.
The role holder will be a tech’ savvy person, excited to enter a Procurement career, keen to develop and learn, and keen to experience a variety of Procurement activities and processes, to best inform their future career decisions.
Key responsibilities of a Procurement Executive:
Procurement Services team cover – travel bookings, master data administration, fuel reporting, credit card spend
Go To Market process management cover
KEY administration (savings initiatives reporting)
Docusign administration (contract signatures)
Powerpoint slides design
Supplier relationship management support
Sourcing support
Qualifications
Confident and effective communicator
Proven ability to rapidly build strong relationships sufficient to support role
A general commercial mindset, always seeking to identify opportunities to add value
Confident in managing multiple and competing demands on time
Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Experience of managing a Purchase to Pay (P2P)process on SAP (not essential)
