Technical and Software Sales Manager

We’re excited to partner with a leading development company to offer this rare opportunity for an experienced Technical and Software Sales Manager.
As the company expands and launches a new Cloud-based software platform, we're looking for a sales professional with a strong track record in selling technology and SaaS solutions—ideally in engineering or manufacturing.
The Role You’ll lead technical sales efforts, particularly for the new SaaS platform and complex system solutions involving both hardware and software. You’ll support internal sales teams with technical tenders and help onboard clients to next-gen products.
Key Responsibilities
Drive technical sales, focusing on SaaS and integrated hardware/software solutions
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
Deliver product demos, respond to technical sales enquiries, and prepare tenders
Onboard customers to Cloud solutions and provide ongoing support
Identify new business opportunities and report on Cloud rollouts
Stay informed on public transport tech trends to align solutions
Support the Sales Director with strategy development Requirements
Proven experience in senior-level tech/SaaS sales
Strong understanding of Cloud tech and SaaS platforms
Ability to learn and explain hardware-software integrations (serial, Ethernet, etc.)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercially savvy with good analytical thinking
Self-driven and highly organized Desirable
Knowledge of electronics or vehicle electrical systems
Additional languages (French, Spanish, German) This role is UK-based with occasional international travel.
