Required Skills Customer Service Skills Job Summary Role: Aftersales Customer Support Specialist Location: Salisbury Salary: £31,610 OTE Hours: Full Time 08:30 – 17:00 Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can use your communication skills to engage with customers and drive business success? We are looking for an Aftersales Customer Support Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for handling all incoming service and repair inquiries for customer vehicles via telephone, website, and digital channels. You will also proactively manage outbound marketing activities to existing customers, identifying their needs and upselling retention products using professional sales techniques. What You’ll Be Doing: • Providing excellent customer service by handling queries efficiently and professionally • Selling additional products, services, and repair work in a professional and customer-focused manner • Managing inbound and outbound leads, ensuring timely and accurate processing • Proactively engaging with customers to drive aftersales opportunities (no cold calling required) • Scheduling workshop appointments in line with availability • Liaising with sales, parts, and workshop teams to ensure smooth customer experiences • Accurately maintaining customer records, transaction details, and warranty documentation • Handling customer concerns with professionalism and escalating where necessary What We’re Looking For: • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively • Confident and professional telephone manner • Ability to upsell products and services confidently • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with great attention to detail • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office • Experience in customer service, contact centres, or automotive industries (preferred but not essential – full training provided!)
