We currently have a vacancy for a PFI General Manager to join our Asset Operations team at Kajima Partnerships Ltd.
The role suits an astute, people-focused candidate with a genuine enjoyment of team working and problem solving in complex environments. Our Asset Managers sit on the SPV board as statutory directors. Candidates should have an excellent eye for detail, report writing skills, and be confident in sharing and presenting information. The role is home-based with some travel to asset sites. Ideally, the candidate will reside in the Nottingham/Leicester/Peterborough area.
Main responsibilities include:
* Ensuring Kajima Partnerships Limited meets its obligations under its Management Services Agreement with the Project Company, and addressing any non-compliance issues.
* Ensuring delivery and compliance with all obligations of the Project Agreement, Project finance documents, and related contracts.
* Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Project Agreement, its schedules, and sub-contracts.
* Effective liaison with the Board and Funders as required by the agreements.
* Managing Board meetings and proceedings with the Company Secretary.
* Overseeing commercial, financial, operational, and service performance management of projects.
* Assuming a board director role for the Project Co., including commercial responsibilities.
Ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Experience working with complex Project Agreements in PFI or similar projects.
* Understanding of the funding and contractual structures of PFI projects.
* Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders such as Project Company Boards, funders, sub-contractors, and public sector bodies.
* Experience in performance monitoring, legal compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
* Knowledge of value-for-money principles in PFI lifecycle expenditure.
* Strong reporting, leadership, and team management skills.
* Ability to identify business development opportunities and build stakeholder relationships.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and legislative updates.
