This appointment is critical in supporting the customer services, sales and account management teams in ensuring that each client account is managed professionally, and enquiries and complaints are dealt with competently and with a sense of urgency. The role is varied, very fast paced and will require a very high calibre candidate that thrives in a dynamic environment, who can juggle multiple priorities but always has the customer at the heart of everything they do.
It is essential that you have experience in a customer service driven environment. You will provide strong administrative support to the senior account managers, and also get the opportunity to manage a number of customer accounts for which you will take sole responsibility. You will get to understand your customers inside out through developing relationships with them that are based on trust, integrity and delivering what you say you will.
Responsibilities
* Provide strong administrative support to senior account managers and manage a number of customer accounts with sole responsibility.
* Develop relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations, delivering on commitments with integrity and urgency.
* Support the customer services, sales and account management teams to ensure professional management of client accounts and timely handling of enquiries and complaints.
* Collaborate with multiple departments and internal stakeholders (sales, operations, logistics) to coordinate service delivery and issue resolution.
* Report to the Key Account Manager and contribute to a fast-paced, high-quality customer experience.
* Utilise strong analytical skills and, where applicable, Excel (and Power BI) to support account management activities.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer service driven environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly organized, methodical and process-driven with attention to detail.
* Natural confidence with the ability to influence and negotiate; commercially aware and analytically minded with good listening skills.
* Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI is advantageous.
* Preferably Degree educated. A driving licence is required.
