Description This role is a Senior Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Tooling Engineer – Operating at GRF, [A1] who will be a key member of the Information Technology Service Management Tooling team which delivers solutions into multiple important accounts across the DNS Business Unit. The role holder should have a breadth of technical knowledge across both traditional and emerging ITSM toolsets, which enable them to deliver and optimise ITSM tooling solutions as part of a DNS Operations delivery team. As a Senior Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Tooling Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring continued delivery excellence in support of our customers Digital Transformation priorities. You will work as part of an Agile team reporting into the Senior ITSM Tooling Architect to produce build documentation for installation and configuration a wide variety of ITSM tooling solutions which vary in size and complexity. Working in Fujitsu Defence, you will need to demonstrate to customers and colleagues that you always work to the highest standards of data security. You will need to show others that you are an innovative individual who understands the deployment of IT systems in secure environments, and that you can deliver solutions of significant size and complexity. You will be required to produce build documentation and implementation plans that give customers the confidence that can deliver robust ITSM solutions that are consistent across environments. Your transferable skills and experience: Extensive experience in the installation, configuration and customisation of various ITSM/ITIL/Service Desk Tooling technologies which should ideally include technologies from one or more of the following: CA Service Desk Manager BMC Remedy BMC Helix ServiceNow Cherwell Service Management Software Freshworks ManageEngine Extensive experience of working within the bounds of ITSM/ITOM/ITIL/eTOM processes, ideally, with accompanying certifications (E.g. ITIL v4 certified). Extensive knowledge and experience in the implementation of highly secure, highly resilient, large scale ITSM tooling solutions for cloud, on-premises and hybrid cloud solutions. A working knowledge of general Information Technology Core infrastructure capabilities including: Windows Server technologies Active Directory and Group Policies SQL and SQL Server Clustering PKI Infrastructure and certificate management capabilities General knowledge of scripting, applications development and data manipulation techniques including: SQL Scripting Powershell JavaScript REST Web Services C# Power BI SQL Server Reporting Please note: It’s still worth applying even if you do not meet all the requirements above.
