About the Role:
Were looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You'll be working with precision components and specialist materials, ensuring every part meets exacting standards for quality and performance. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Do in this Sheet Metal Worker role:
1. Interpret technical drawings, work cards and specifications accurately
2. Fabricate and assemble complex parts using a variety of sheet metal tools
3. Work with high-performance materials
4. Handle thin gauge materials
5. Carry out riveting, sealing and assembly of fabricated and machined components
6. Inspect work visually and document results to tight tolerances
7. Identify and report non-conforming products or processes
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
