Summary:
Purpose – ensure our regional sales team has sufficient technical skills and knowledge to effectively sell the value of our products and to ensure clinical customers maximize the value and develop a preference for our technology.
Objectives – Using an educational tool set, you will ensure the knowledge of our products and their clinical application is maximized both internally & externally in order to retain & grow business.
Accountable for – Staff technical skills, IFU compliance, customer clinical application excellence.
Key stakeholders – own KOL, educators, SSD, nursing – network with other stakeholders, especially clinical.
Main Responsibilities/Main Tasks:
* Organize projects, presentations, training or activities supporting sales objectives.
* Deliver product and applications training to colleagues and customers through coaching, education, and training activities.
* Support sales by demonstrating, installing, and commissioning products.
* Educate and train customers and staff in best practice clinical use of PENTAX products.
* Monitor competitors' activities and positioning strategies, providing feedback to the business.
* Review product performance against user requirements and feedback into the business.
* Represent PENTAX at regional and national conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops to maintain market knowledge and gather intelligence.
* Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to influence and develop PENTAX Medical brand preference and grow market share.
* Plan, organize, and deliver regional and national educational study days and clinical workshops for PENTAX customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field preferred.
* Experience as Applications Specialist or Product Sales Specialist in a medical devices company, or recent clinical department experience.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently with a focus on achieving business objectives.
* Strong communication skills for information transfer and cross-functional teamwork.
* Flexibility to travel extensively, up to 80% of the role.
* Professional level English language skills.
* Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
