* Full time: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:00
* Part time: Flexible days available
Pay: £110 per day
Start Date: 17th November 2025
Full time contract: Until the end of the academic year 2026

About the Role
As a Welsh Speaking Unqualified Teacher, you will:
* Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with pre-prepared work.
* Deliver set lessons and maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
* Support students with additional learning needs where required.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with school policies.
* Ensure the classroom remains organised and safe.
* Report any incidents or challenges to school staff or department heads.
What We’re Looking For
* Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Adaptability to work in various school settings.
* A positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people.
* Awareness of safeguarding and the importance of maintaining a safe learning environment.
Requirements
* A passion for education and commitment to supporting pupils with diverse needs.
* Transferable communication or leadership skills (e.g., from coaching, mentoring, or youth work).
* Willingness to complete required training.
* Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided).
* EWC registration (guidance available).
* Two recent references.
* Ability to commute to schools in the Cardiff area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
