Pay: £13.30 per hour - £15,561.00 per annum

As a Housing Engagement Worker, youll work directly with young people and their hosts to provide tailored support, helping residents develop essential life skills and move towards independent living. Youll also play a key role in supporting the recruitment and development of Supported Lodgings Providers, ensuring they feel confident and equipped to offer high-quality care.

In this role you'll:
* Support young people through personalised support plans and life skills development
* Facilitate referrals, assessments, inductions and move-on planning
* Promote positive activities and co-production opportunities
* Help young people understand their rights and responsibilities in housing
* Assist in recruiting and supporting Supported Lodgings Providers
* Work closely with external agencies to ensure holistic support

What youll need to succeed
* Experience working in housing or support services with vulnerable young people
* Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
* Ability to carry out needs and risk assessments and support planning
* Knowledge of housing legislation and safeguarding frameworks
* A full UK driving licence with access to transport

Additional Information
The successful candidate will be based at our YMCA My Place Hostel alongside our Norwich Community Housing team, and participate in a rota of shifts which will cover the core hours of 22.5 hours per week (generally worked over 3 days). Core working hours for the team are from 9.00am - 7.00pm, Monday - Saturday, over 365 days of the year.
