The Role entails:
Dealing with both members of the public and individuals from various professional services, including financial advisers, solicitors, accountants and surveyors; Developing expertise to deal with administration, problem solving and, above all, helping clients achieve objectives through their Self Invested Pension and Small Self Administered Schemes; Learning all aspects of pension planning ranging from establishing new pension schemes to purchasing commercial property to undertaking secure lending to arranging retirement; Dealing with day-to-day queries as they arise, learning to problem-solve and work flexibly using a variety of sources and materials to achieve work objectives with various deadlines; Using database systems, Microsoft Office, manual files and records to ensure accuracy is maintained. An individual who has excellent interpersonal skills and has experience dealing with people on a daily basis in a polite, efficient and friendly manner. Excellent communication skills are essential for both face to face and telephone calls. Team work forms a significant part of the role, but also the ability to work on your own initiative. We hope to inspire you to become involved with projects and initiatives within our business which are charity led. Although the job will entail administrative duties, we are not expecting expertise in pensions administration as full on-the-job training will be provided, at one of our two offices where you will be based in Pencoed.
