Join EDF (UK) as a Safety Project Manager on a fixed-term contract to help shape the future of nuclear energy in the UK and contribute to delivering the Sizewell C development.
The Opportunity
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) delivers the design for several nuclear island buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project. You will coordinate safety-related technical activities across multiple disciplines, support strategic planning and day-to-day execution, and foster collaboration across UK and French teams to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
Location: Aztec West, Bristol (hybrid working).

What You’ll Be Doing
* Coordinate safety-related technical activities across disciplines and manage the safety scope for Sizewell C.
* Lead the specification process for the annual Sizewell C Task Order and update key documentation to reflect evolving project needs.
* Support the Safety Discipline team with technical queries, monitor weekly progress, and contribute to monthly budget gap analyses.
* Shape corrective actions, maintain client and regulatory relationships, and lead kick-off meetings with clearly defined expectations and inputs.
* Work with the Safety Manager to contribute to performance reporting and maintain high standards across all safety deliverables.
* Collaborate with UK and French teams to ensure alignment of safety activities with project delivery goals.
Who You Are
* Engineering degree (or equivalent experience) with project management experience in the nuclear sector.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
* Proactive, well-organized, able to juggle multiple workstreams, and capable of managing contractual topics.
* Fluency in English is essential; familiarity with EPR or other PWR designs is a plus. Knowledge of nuclear safety and the ability to communicate in French would be beneficial but is not required.
