Do you have a passion or interest in food science? We have an opportunity for candidates to join a large Blue chip Food organization to support a Science Group and analytical team. These positions will be flexible technician roles working across different departments, including analytical, food product development, and food manufacturing.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working in all departments to prepare samples, weigh ingredients, and maintain housekeeping.
2. Creating new products, conducting wet chemistry moisture analysis, preparing and grinding cocoa beans, filling moulds, and operating flow wrappers.
3. Performing laboratory tasks following specified methodologies.
Candidate requirements:
* Passion and interest in food and cookery.
* An A level in a scientific discipline is advantageous.
* Following product formulations and methods, considering standard operating procedures and food safety to produce food products at bench scale or manufacturing.
* This is an early careers position; full training will be provided.
* Ideal for candidates seeking to work in different areas of the business and seeking career progression.
* Please note, this is not a graduate role; it is for early years candidates with A level or equivalent, interested in starting a career in food science, and not holding a degree.
