Assistant HR Business Partner – Our NHS Client is Recruiting (Band 7)

Our NHS client is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Assistant Human Resources Business Partner to join their HR team. This is a senior-level opportunity to support one of the Trust’s four Divisions, providing strategic HR input and delivering people-focused solutions that make a real difference to staff and patient care.
As part of the HR Business Partnering team, you will work closely with senior managers, supporting the implementation of HR and OD strategies, advising on complex employee relations matters, and leading on workforce projects and change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional HR advice and solutions to divisional leadership teams, supporting delivery of organisational objectives.
* Support performance management, absence, capability and complex employee relations cases.
* Analyse and interpret HR data to support decision-making and identify workforce priorities.
* Promote effective workforce planning, recruitment and retention initiatives.
* Lead and support organisational change programmes, including TUPE and restructures.
* Develop policies, training and guidance in line with employment law and best practice.
* Contribute to divisional workforce KPIs, governance arrangements and risk management.
* Act as a role model for NHS values and promote staff engagement and inclusion.
About You:
We’re looking for someone with proven HR expertise in a large and complex organisation, confident working with senior leaders and able to influence at all levels. You’ll combine technical HR knowledge with strategic awareness and strong interpersonal skills.
You will bring:
* CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience).
* MCIPD membership (essential).
* Significant experience as an HR specialist in a complex environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and its application.
* Experience of leading on projects and organisational change.
* Excellent influencing, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong IT and HR data analysis skills.
Desirable:
* Master’s level qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Previous NHS experience.
