Personal Assistant
A personal assistant is required to support an older lady in her own home, enabling her daughter to take some time away from full-time caregiving.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide nourishing meals.
* Maintain a clean, peaceful and comfortable living environment.
* Do the laundry.
* Support wellbeing through stimulating and creative activities.
* Assist with bathing and dressing in the morning.
* Prepare the individual for bed in the early evening.
Suitable Candidates
Ideal candidates are retired or semi-retired individuals residing in the Filey area, or anyone seeking part-time work.
Qualifications & Experience
* Patient, compassionate, self-aware and professional.
* Experience working with people with cognitive impairment (beneficial).
* Minimum 1 year of home care experience (preferred).
* English language proficiency (preferred).
* Driving licence (preferred).
Working Hours & Pay
* Roughly 4-6 hours per week, over two days to begin with (e.g., Wednesday and Thursday).
* Potential for additional hours in the future.
* Occasional holiday cover may be required.
* Hourly rate: £15.
* Location: In person, Filey area.
