Salary: Teachers Main Pay Scale, M1-M6, £32,916 to £45,352 per annum, plus TLR 2a - £3,527 per annum

Our trust aims to ensure first class learning opportunities for all young people across the Fylde Coast and across Lancashire. The trust has grown to include 10 academies with primary, secondary and all through provisions as well as the Central Services and School Improvement team. About Unity Academy Blackpool

Unity Academy is an all through school for children aged 2-16. We are an inclusive academy committed to providing the best possible education for all the children within our care. Our curriculum ensures progression across all ages with systems and processes designed to work for children throughout the school. The school motto is “In Unity, we succeed” and this is at the heart of our ethos. The staff team and supportive ethos amongst colleagues complements the support, care and guidance we provide to children. The academy is committed to developing our staff through twice weekly deliberate practice sessions for classroom facing staff. Responsibilities

* Lead MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) across the academy in line with the curriculum and school improvement priorities.
* Collaborate with curriculum leaders to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning experiences for MFL learners.
* Monitor and support student progress in MFL, using assessment data to inform teaching strategies.
* Contribute to the development of an inclusive and ambitious MFL provision for all pupils.
* Engage in professional development and share best practice with colleagues.


Qualifications and experience

* Qualified teacher with relevant MFL specialism and experience in leading subject development.
* Proven ability to lead, coach and develop others to raise standards.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
