The LLP is seeking applicants who have worked in a private client team and are looking for a fresh challenge. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and the capacity to work under pressure in a team environment while effectively managing client expectations.
Responsibilities
* Take initial instructions from clients and supervise the opening of files through the Office Management System.
* Deal with client cases from initial instruction to completion under supervision.
* Assist in the supervision and development of support staff.
* Assist in the marketing and development of the department.
* Manage own caseload under supervision and meet clients in person, remotely, and at their homes.
* Time recording of all work undertaken.
* Report to and receive instruction from the Head of the Private Client department.
Required Skills And Experience
* Excellent communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines, show flexibility and prioritise workloads calmly and consistently.
* Adherence to quality and work management systems.
* Achievement of targets.
* Ability to work in a friendly but fast-paced and professional environment.
* Flexibility in supporting other team members.
* Attendance at required training courses.
* Maintain Lexcel accreditation including completion of file reviews, CARs, and following procedures for case/file management.
* Effective cross-selling of services.
* Willingness to undertake Membership of Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) or SFE, if not already held; either one or both memberships are required.
