Job Title: Business Insights Analyst Location: Bracknell, Berkshire Role Overview This role focuses on leveraging Business Intelligence and analytical capabilities to improve visibility and data-driven decision-making across Fleet and Operations teams. You will transform operational data into structured, actionable insights that enable performance improvement, cost optimization, and process efficiency. This is a business-facing role requiring strong analytical skills, operational understanding, and the ability to challenge assumptions through data. What You'll Be Doing Partner with operational stakeholders to understand performance challenges and identify improvement opportunities through data-driven insights. Analyze operational KPIs to identify trends, risks, and efficiency opportunities. Translate complex operational data into clear performance narratives and actionable recommendations. Build, maintain, and continuously improve high-impact dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Perform deeper analytical assessments using statistical and programming tools (e.g., Python or R) when required to support performance optimization initiatives. Support business discussions with structured, fact-based insights. Define, monitor, and help standardize key operational metrics across EMEA markets. Improve and automate recurring reporting processes to enhance scalability and reduce manual workload. Contribute to data governance and ensure consistency & reliability of reporting outputs. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field. 2–3 years experience in analytics, business intelligence or similar roles. Strong SQL skills and experience querying operational databases. Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analytical modeling. Experience with data preparation tools (e.g., Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or similar) is a plus. Experience applying data science techniques to solve operational performance challenges is preferred. Experience working with performance KPIs and operational metrics. Ability to translate business needs into structured analytical approaches. Strong data storytelling and presentation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
